Is Skinny Beef Grass Fed?

The answer is yes, but not also grass finished as we did initially. We have found the perfect combination for excellent quality beef by using steers that are grass fed most of their lives, but fed just enough corn to balance the ph in the meat but not enough for the steers to get too fat. The result is some of the best tasting, best looking, super lean ground beef you will ever see. The cuts that we use produce beautiful dark red meat that have 120 calories per quarter pound serving, 24 grams of protein, and only 2 grams of fat along with other beef benefits such as eight times more vitamin B-12, six times more zinc and three times more iron than a skinless chicken breast. It’s good stuff, so be sure to ‘get the skinny’!
Skinny Beef Compared to Other Beef
Here's the set up...we put regular, lean, extra lean, and Skinny Beef ground beef on the grill below:
Here are some more shots from our older grill that we took when we first started comparing various ground beef items to see how our Skinny Beef ground beef compared:

Regular Ground Beef - 20 grams of fat per serving - TEN TIMES THE AMOUNT OF FAT!
Here is high quality, regular fat filled burger patties from a famous online company that you would recognize immediately. It cost $17.99 per pound after shipping.

This was actually kind of fun...when I did this picture, I had never cooked regular burgers on the George Foreman Grill - fun because the burgers were so slick (fatty) that they kept sliding toward the front of the grill! As you can see, lots and lots of fat...I even poured it out on the dirt outside as I didn't want this much fat going down the disposal and coating all of my house pipes...not to mention my arteries! Enough said!
